Small FAA Approved Repair Station, located in Western Massachusetts is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to develop jet engine component repairs and provide quality assurance oversight. The ideal candidate will have a BSME degree with 8 to 10 years experience in quality and component repair development, managerial experience and intimate familiarity with FAA regulations. An affiliation or familiarity with ASQ, SAE or ISO would be a plus, as would knowledge of DER procedures. An understanding of machining Nickel and Chrome plating, plasma spray and weld build-ups is critical.

Repair Station is the maintenance division of a component manufacturer specializing in precision machining of close tolerance parts for OEM’s such as P&W, GE, Honeywell, Rolls Royce and Bell.
